| High Desert Pod Purpose and Mission Statement In 1983 the High Desert Pod, HDP, became affiliated and sanctioned with The Chili Appreciation Society International Inc (CASI). CASI is a nonprofit charitable corporation whose purpose is assisting and raising funds for various charitable organizations in The United States and participating foreign countries by the use of competition chili cooking events. CASI also has the purpose of educating the public in the furtherance and development of the food known as “Chili”. |
